Statement Provided to Energy Week at Duke:

[I am] not sure how much energy policy my position will have at Soil And Water. I will be mainly dealing with ways to preserve farming, making sure our water supply is as clean as possible in each watershed, which will include keeping soils in place. Also improving drainage where needed, etc.

As a person, I am all for clean energy and have always been so. I have said many times, why are we depending on a product where it will kill you if you inhale too much? I think solar technology is the key with battery reserve. If any of these issues come up in my duties, that is where my position will be.
