Duke MBA Energy Club

The Duke MBA Energy Club prepares Fuqua’s top student talent to be the energy leaders of tomorrow. 

 

In addition to providing programming and career support for its members, the MBA Energy Club organizes the Duke University Energy Conference and Energy in Emerging Markets Case Competition. These events will take place during the much anticipated 5th annual Energy Week and provide sponsors with multiple opportunities to engage students.

ENERGY WEEK AT DUKE

Energy minded students, faculty and energy professionals will engage with energy topics with Duke University. The MBA Energy Club, Nicholas School Energy Club, Pratt Energy Club and Sanford Energy Club work together to support the various events. 

Highlights include the Energy Conference and the Energy in Emerging Markets Case Competition, in addition to career chats, lectures, tours, showcases throughout the Duke campus.

DUKE UNIVERSITY ENERGY CONFERENCE

The 12th anniversary of one of the premier student-led conferences in the country. 

Engages business leaders, policymakers, academics, and undergraduate and graduate students from multiple universities through keynotes speakers, panels, a networking lunch, and a closing reception.

Provides sponsors excellent exposure to students and industry professionals.

ENERGY IN EMERGING MARKETS CASE COMPETITION

The 8th annual competition brings together 100+ participants from top MBA and graduate programs to tackle a real energy challenge.

The 2018 competition featured 34 teams from 20 top MBA programs, including Wharton, Stanford, Chicago Booth, Carnegie Mellon, Hong Kong University, INSEAD, Rice, Georgetown, Yale, Michigan, Cornell, UCLA, and Duke.
