Energy Conference Co-Chair
Ross Fly
Ross is an MBA and Master of Environmental Management candidate at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and Nicholas School of the Environment. Receiving a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University, Ross worked in the energy industry for ExxonMobil and later in the leadership consulting industry for Development Dimensions International. He is passionate about protecting and restoring the natural environment and is concentrating his dual degree program at Duke on finance and strategy related to climate tech. This past summer, he interned at 8 Rivers Capital, and he is currently an NC Idea Startup Analyst Fellow. In his free-time, Ross and his wife, Cassie, enjoy rock and ice climbing, mountain biking, and hiking with their Boykin Spaniel.

Breanne Leakey
Breanne is a second-year MBA student at the Fuqua School of Business with a background in chemical engineering. Before business school, she worked as an engineer in the renewable energy industry, specifically power generation operations across solar, wind, and battery storage technologies. Breanne is passionate about the energy transition, stemming from a deep love of nature, animals, and our planet. She believes addressing climate change is the defining challenge of our generation and is excited to co-chair this year's conference, viewing it as a powerful platform to inspire emerging leaders within the energy sector. She's also committed to fostering diversity and inclusion at the conference, recognizing that only by engaging a multifaceted audience can we chart a more equitable and sustainable path forward in our battle against climate change.

Andrew Shuffer
Andrew's interest in renewable energy began when he built hybrid and electric racecars in college. The experience inspired him to study electrical engineering. As a first-year MBA student, he joined the Energy Week team to gain a deeper understanding of the renewable energy industry.

Ayushi Jain
Ayushi is currently in her second year of MBA, and she is looking to work as a strategy consultant in the Energy industry post-MBA. After completing her B.Tech from IIT-BHU, she worked at Mastercard as a Payments Consultant. Over the four years at Mastercard, she worked with over 20 Fortune 500 Clients, from merchants to banks to governments, spanning several geographies, sectors, and industries to resolve their most challenging problems. Motivated by building a more sustainable future for our planet, she decided to switch to the Energy industry through an MBA, and Energy Week gave her the right platform to meet like-minded people and firms transforming the world.

Javahar Mariwala
Javahar is back at Duke for round 2. He originally graduated from Duke in 2019 with a B.S. in Ecology, and since then he has worked in a range of roles including product innovation in the supplement industry and as a researcher in ecological conservation. His goal is to build technology solutions in India that tackle climate change, and he believes the MBA will help him get there. Helping support Duke Energy Week is a way for him to start to get involved in the climate tech industry, give back to Duke, share his passion with others, and learn from those working in Energy.

Operations
Ryan Mascheri
Ryan studied Supply Chain Management in undergrad and found his way to working as an Operations Analyst, streamlining supply chains in upstream oil & gas for six years after. He knew he wanted to go back to school to make a pivot into renewable energies and the global carbon reduction mission, and Duke was the right choice for him. Specifically, the work that Duke does between the EDGE center, Energy Club, and Nicholas Institute inspired him to apply to the school. He feels like Energy Week and the Energy Conference are such incredible culminations of people coming together from on and off campus, inspired by a common goal, and he wanted to help make sure that the event is as successful as possible!

Operations
Brandon Cooke
Brandon comes from a strong business foundation in the defense contracting industry, and he is eager to transition his expertise into the energy sector. He sees it as a rapidly evolving field with continuous technological advancements and countless opportunities that have a broad impact on the entire economy, and he wants to be a part of that change. Brandon joined the Energy Week team to gain firsthand insights into the industry. His focus within the team is on operations, where he aims to improve his project management skills.

Nick Schreiber
Nick is currently a first-year MBA candidate at the Fuqua School of Business. Prior to pursuing his MBA, he worked in a wide range of functions across the energy industry encompassing pricing, market fundamentals, credit risk, and the management of wind, solar, and battery storage assets. He is passionate about the energy markets, the dynamic transformation of the energy grid, and the pivotal role that renewable energy will play in shaping the future grid landscape. Nick aspires to work in strategy within the energy industry after successfully completing his MBA program.

Jenn Enamorado
Jenn, a first-year MBA student at the Fuqua School of Business, is deeply intrigued by the energy industry. Recognizing its pivotal role in shaping the future, she eagerly joined the Energy Conference team. Through this involvement, she aims to glean valuable insights from her fellow classmates and industry experts. Before embarking on her MBA journey, Jenn worked in investor relations and corporate development. Now, with a keen interest in corporate strategy, she hopes to leverage her diverse background and the knowledge gained from Fuqua to make a meaningful impact in the energy sector.

Radhika Udgirkar
Radhika has more than 7 years experience spanning Consulting and Financial Services sector. She has been actively involved in the energy sector since her undergraduate studies at Lady Shri Ram College for Women. Her involvement in the clean energy space was reinforced through her time at IE Business School where she pursued her Master in Finance focused on clean energy financing and her time at Deloitte where she worked with major multilateral development banks and renewable energy producers.

Ryan Van Slyke
Ryan is a second-year MBA student at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business with a background in strategy, operations, policy, corporate growth, and data science. Before coming to Duke, Ryan received a B.S. from Indiana University-Bloomington and worked in management consulting and international development, all related to helping countries improve their resiliency and adapt to threats posed by climate change. He believes that the energy transition and climate adaptation require systems-of-systems approaches, which is why he’s worked with the Duke University Endowment, State Street Global Advisors, Calvert Impact Capital, and the Duke Sanford School of Public Policy during his time on campus to identify ways to mobilize communities and capital to invest in climate-related solutions. Ryan is a COLE Leadership Fellow, a CASEi3 Impact Investing Fellow, and on the cabinets for Fuqua’s Net Impact and Pride clubs. In his free time, Ryan is a professional musician and performs with the Duke University Chapel Choir.

Chibuzor Biosah
Chibuzor Biosah--Uzo for short--was born and raised in sunny Los Angeles, California. She is pursuing her dual MBA/MPP at Duke University, and her academic and professional passions lie at the nexus of equitable urban policy, environmental stewardship, and technology. She's excited to leverage her organizational and communication skills to help plan the policy panel at this year's Energy Conference. Outside of school and work, you’ll likely find her thrift shopping, playing her electric guitar, or daydreaming about catching a wave somewhere warm.

Jose Panameno Alger
Jose spent the past 8 years at the dynamic intersection of the energy and insurance sectors. During this time, Jose worked across the US and Latin America on a wide array of energy projects, ranging from oil and gas to renewables. This international exposure led Jose to develop a passion about energy geopolitics. Jose joined the Energy Conference planning committee to bring more exposure to the intersection of energy and politics.
